- The glowing EL wire has 3 modes: Steady Light,Slow Flash, and Fast Flash. The glow is a soft uniform all through out and does not flicker when in "steady light" mode. The light isn't bright enough to cause eye tension, irritability or fatigue.
- The power pack has a clip that you can use to secure to your clothing. The power pack needs 2 x AA batteries (not included). The light on the power pack indicates low battery. Power consumption is in milliwatts.
EL (electroluminescent) wire is a thin copper wire coated in a phosphor which glows a 360 degree unbroken light when an alternating current is applied to it.
It is a bendable thin neon tube which makes it ideal for flexible decoration, in this case it's woven around a mask.
